im trying to install a cb radio in my house.is the stuff below all i need to do so?and add anything else?

Best answer:
I think you need a 12 volt battery too. The Car Charger will probably be too electrically noisey to run the radio directly. You woull want at least a motorcycle battery to smooth out the supply coming from the car charger.... Of course you also need transmission line to connect the radio to the antenna...and maybe a microphone.... and maybe some electrical tape...and a license.Well, unless you have a tin roof on your house, you're going need a base antenna - those antennas are made for car use - BUT if you have a tin roof, either one will probably work to some degree.

after a base antenna, you need 50 ohm coax (RG8, Mini 8, 8X, RG58 etc) to go from your antenna to the radio you have.

I would suggest getting a 13.8V Power Supply (not use the car charger) - and if you want to use your radio in the car, with your RoadPro Cigarette Lighter Plug, I would suggest a power supply like this one:

Pyramid PS9KX 5A/7A Power Supply with Cigarette Lighter Plug - available from amazon for $ 27.99

and get a cb tech to help you with the small stuff :)
