I can't see how it would serve any purpose being used on a car seatComplete waste of money.We had a similar product on the infant car seat, and we liked it. It was nice to keep the child warm while you're carrying the carseat to the car from wherever, and then you can until it inside the car, and you dont have to worry about bundling up the baby, since this cover is used like a blanket. It was only useful for a short period of time when the baby is pretty little - we had a cheaper version, maybe $ 30, and it was worth it to us.
