My supervisor is a Diva, and she is driving me crazy! How do I cope with this behavior, & still keep my job?

I had this type of boss. You call her a diva. I called him an *sshole. You will have to confront her and tie her down. Tell her you are NOT good at mind reading, you are NOT good at guessing what she wants. Tell her you are willing to do whatever she wants you to do, but you need direction to ensure that HER goals, wants, and wishes are met.The main thing here that is irritating you is that her personality is opposite to yours. This is obvious. You need to use some psych on this one... determine within yourself why she is the way she is. Excerise patience and understanding that there is more to her than what you see and hear, there is pain your not aware of and hurt you dont know about.Some bosses are hard to please. They have trouble explaining what they want -- but they know what they don't like when they see it.

This approach might help:

The next time she gives you an assignment, tell her you want to do a great job with it. Ask her what you'll have to do to be successful. Try not to focus on the details of completing the assignment, but what the finished work must look like to meet her approval.

If you can both agree on what success will *look* like, you both may be happier when the job is done.
