How come Samatha Brown and Rick Steves doesn't take anybody with them when they go on their travel shows?

Best answer:
I think that Samantha Brown does...in her journals that are posted in the Travelnetwork website..She mentions her companion, plus remember that there is a crew of three people...A producer, camera man and Her....
Rick Steves..really dont know...I do not watch him.I think it's to make you, the viewer, feel like you and Samantha Brown are traveling Europe (or wherever). Personally, I rather like her shows the way they are. I think it would be too distracting to have another person along, because the show would cease to be as much about the destinations as it would the two hosts. That's just my opinion. Question back: do you think Samantha Brown drinks during every show?I like Samantha's show the way it is, she is really smart and funny, and I can't imagine anyone as good as her
