This is my review of the LAPolicegear Tactical Bail Out Gear Bag, which I purchased from www.lapolicegear.com I've used this bag for a while now and I've been very impressed with its quality to price ratio. While filming this video, I did manage to ruin one of the zipper ties, and in the spirit of keeping it real, I made sure to include it in the video. I've since remedied the issue with two cents worth of paracord. Because the zippers and overall construction of the bag are so good otherwise, I still highly recommend the bag. How to pack lightly for a camping trip school field trip?

Best answer:
Try rolling up your clothes that works great.
Also you can wrap your pillow in your sleeping bag.
If it has small compartments you can try to stuff as many smaller items as you can.
These are all tips I have learned from doing boy scouts.

AndrewI agree with Fran, try to roll all your clothes, short, underwear, sweater and pants very well, it can reduce some space so you can save for other items.
Choose the lightest material as you can get, but still remind that they will have to keep you warm out there.

For bathroom and skin care products, put them in tinier media (like small bottles) so they fit one small plastic bag.

Make sure your shoulders comfort when carry the backpack.
